Janes career has included working as an adult education tutor/trainer, but predominantly she worked in mental health services and family support. She has always been enthusiastic about creative writing and has experience of a wide variety of forms and styles. Her current passion is scriptwriting. In 2021 she had a non-fiction book published about mental health and has had articles published in online magazines.
Jane gained an M.A. in Creative Writing and Personal Development at Sussex University, a course that focussed on the process of writing as a means of self-exploration. The course will not be a therapy group however, but will offer an informal and supportive place to consider the complex issues around autobiographical writing, as well as an opportunity to experiment with writing styles.
